June Meeting Challenge

This month's challenge (our first one!!) was to make a card using retiring colours. Here's what everyone came up with:

This tri-fold card is by Jacqui and won first place!

This baby card is by Robyn who placed 2nd.

And this teal card is by Rachel who placed 3rd.

This last one is by me - not entered in the comp of course! But wanted to share anyway. :-)

More Convention News

There will be a Regionals Training in Brisbane on the 18th of Setember so book that one into your diaries - its like a mini convention with make and takes, presentations and workshop wows. There's usually a free stamp set in there as well!


Stampin' Connection is up and running now. Its kind of like Facebook but just for demonstrators. I've created a group for our team as well. Hope to see you all on there very soon - you can upload photos of your cards and pages and view hundreds of other samples too. There are discusssion boards to participate in and more.


A big focus at Convention was getting back to basics and workshops. There is some great information on the demonstrator website now so check it out. We can discuss at our next meeting which is Monday 14th June.

Convention News

Convention is AWESOME!!!! Here is some news for those who were not able to attend:

*Next year's Convention will be in Melbourne! It will also be extended to 3 days - May 12, 13 and 14.

*Next year's Incentive Trip will be to FIJI!!!!! We need to get together to figure out how we can all get there! The great thing for those who attended Convention is that we got 2000 bonus points to help us get there. :-) Awesome entertainment by the Fijian dancers too!

*We got sneak peaks of new stamp sets and even the cover of the next catalogue!!! Unfortunately we are not allowed to show those on blogs and websites so you'll have to catch up with me in person for those sneak peaks! ;-)

*As many of you already know, I placed 18th and Liz placed 6th for Demonstrator of the Year 2010. A total surprise to me! Each year the top 25 are recognised with a rose and a certificate at the awards dinner and I have to say I never really pictured myself up there - but now I want to be there every year! LOL!

*20% off the starter kit until 31st July! A perfect time to sign up some new team members. And if you do, you will receive the new In Colours pack for free! Sign a second recruit in this time and receive the New Core Colours pack for free too! Imagine receiving all those new inks and cardstock for free and growing our little team. Who will be next up on stage receiving as award from Shelli?? Could be you!
